The trees whisper amongst themselves,

secrets that I will never know

The wind rushes through the fallen leaves,

allowing them to dance,

putting on an effortless show.

Rocks shift beneath my body,

& the ground shifts beneath the rocks ever so slightly,

Moving all at once, the sun peaks through the clouds,

shining brightly.

Demanding to be seen,

& all the more to be felt.

The rays of light pour down from the sky,

finding Earth, Water, & Being on which they may melt.

I breathe in the world around me,

the stream rejoices at the chance to run free,

Restricted by nothing at all, like the stream,

I find myself wishing to be.

But for now, I will walk, one step at a time,

Nature consumes me, what a feeling so sublime!
