Fragile things have broken

I collect typewriters

Her father’s lies

Afraid of failure

Not playing nice

Being homeless

Not good enough

Just a dream

Like I’ve failed

Engage

Control my anger

There is always light

This still bothers me

It was my choice

My bruises

My boyfriend

I wish I had not

Floating

Sometimes I pray

Too fast too soon

To run away

For five months

Stop relying on me

Biological children

Without a nightlight

Then I get surprised

School is hard but

More hate than love

My secret is here

Because it’s safe

I got the job

All I feel is oneness

The idea of you

During first year

I wear a mask everyday

I love staying home

I study psychology

It’s too satisfying

I call myself a feminist

I keep looking
